Confession #3978

I need some advice. I’m a 27 Y.O young engineer (water Engineer) currently working for a local company with a net salary of 74k. I have been working in this company for 1.5 yrs but I feel like it’s toxic and the pressure is too much. I have around 400k in savings and was thinking of getting a student loan and apply for a Masters(Civil Engineering) in the US. Is it worth it? (I intend to use my savings to cater for relaxation expanses only)
Please help a brother make a life changing decision.

My take, yeah take the chance to grow yourself, Engineering is about growth and experience, the more you go up the ladder the more your services are sought after hence a good professional pay, go for it. Do you intend to practice in US or are coming back home? Either way its' a plus.

Go for Canada/UK. My cousin applied for masters in some university in Manchester plus the hubby wakachukuliwa wote and the kids are studying for free huko. I don't know if theirs was luck but many people say applying for a masters in Canada/UK is easy to be accepted. Do further research and pursue your dream. The younger the better. Go for it
