Confession #648

Who is supposed to eat the tithe? As in during this Covid period, I feel like giving my tithe to the less fortunate. Is it ok to help someone using my tithe instead if taking it to the church first?

Ordained and honest pastors and ministers of God are the ones supposed to eat your tithe.

The litmus test is vs 10👆🏾, who are in charge of the storehouse in your Church, and how did they get into this responsibility? Were they first tested? Were they found to be faithful? Were they found to be blameless?……. If not! chances are you are all crooks in that outfit you call church,

1 Timothy 3:8-13 Qualification for a Deacon. (Men who administer the store house in the Church)………… 8 Likewise deacons must be reverent, not double-tongued, not given to much wine, not greedy for money, 9 holding the [f]mystery of the faith with a pure conscience. 10 But let these also first be tested; then let them serve as deacons, being found blameless. 11 Likewise, their wives must be reverent, not [g]slanderers, temperate, faithful in all things. 12 Let deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well. 13 For those who have served well as deacons obtain for themselves a good standing and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus.

5 And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch:

6 Whom they set before the apostles: and when they had prayed, they laid their hands on them.

7 And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.

In the New Testament “Church” the work of managing the storehouse, where tithe is consolidated is not for the preachers but it’s administered by an office called deacons. It’s not a single person but a team of believers who have been tried, tested and found to be faithful and therefore trusted. Acts 6: 1-7 And in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplied, there arose a murmuring of the Grecians against the Hebrews, because their widows were neglected in the daily ministration.

2 Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables.

3 Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.

4 But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.

5 And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost,

No, tithe is holy and belongs to God, but it’s collected here on earth by Men or women, who administer it on behalf of God, I already cited the scripture, meanwhile those who don’t trust there Men of God can as well keep their money, the point I made repeatedly and cited the relevant scripture is that you can not administer your own tithe directly and call it tithe, the same way you can not administer your own tax and call it tax, like tax, tithe has to be consolidated fast, then administered from the store house. Now about teachers of the word in particular, not just any teacher, God commands that they should share in good things from those they teach the word, I have referenced the scripture you can read it. The point here is that it doesn’t have to be a pastor, teaching is also an important ministry in the kingdom it it’s own right, and there is provision for teachers as well

…..IS THAT THE SAME WAY TODAY?..Not necessarily..
Do the preachers still stay in the Temple?..For some churches like Catholic, yes they do..
Hence, THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO requirement for you to, say pay your Tithe to Ng’ang’a or Wamalwa who uses it to buy beer or pay for the services of a prostitute..THAT IS NIT what the tithe is meant to serve..
It was meant to feed the levites and the vulnerable who stayed in the temple..
In the event that the “church” you go to, is run by some rascal who owns bars all over and stays in runda or Kayole and runs other businesses for income generation, so that your tithe in essence goes to inject it in his bar,or matatu business or is used to rent a house for his mpango wa Kando,PLEASE DONT TAKE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY TO THE RASCAL.
Donate it to say Nyumba ya wazee or Nyumbani children home to feed those people.and you will receive the blessing..
Good night.

Now listen……and after this, decide where to take your tithe..in the old order(old testament)and mostly up until the time Christ was here on earth ,(And by the way, even during the missionary work)the preaching of the word of God was exclusively done by the priests(levites)..These people did nothing else.Their mission was to preach the gospel, and in all times, stayed in the temple of God(church)..part of the reson(in the old order) was because, people atoned for their sins through giving living sacrifices, sheep, goats, doves etc..and since only the holy(levites)would do the sacrificing, they stayed on in the temple at all times (never engaging themselves in any other business/occupation/trade)..That is why God decreed that all others would bring the 10% of their produce, so that ” THERE IS FOOD IN MY HOUSE..” For who to eat?..the Levites..and of course, the very poor of the society, widows etc also used to stay in the Temple..Hence they would eat from this giving..
IS THAT THE SAME WAY

Hebrews 7:8 Here mortal men receive tithes, but there he receives them, of whom it is witnessed that he lives.( now this is in the New Testament, point : tithe is a concept of God for increase in the bible, not in the old testament, but for believers)

Malachi 3:10 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this,” says the Lord of hosts, “if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows. ( the point is bring all your tithe to the treasury first )
Now Malachi is the last book in the old testament in this regard it carries the latest amendments by instructions that you don’t try to decide or divide your tithe, you bring the whole tithe into the storehouse first, how it’s distributed to the beneficiaries leave it to Men Of God, or Women these days

When was it *eventually settled* ?
Deutronomy & Leviticus are law books…only Christ could revoke or alter the initial standards.

😄😄😄😄the concept of tithe was a transient then but it was eventually settled down that you bring it to the store house first, then and only then is it distributed by “men of God ” to the eaters

Yes that opens the door for many eaters of tithe.

The same Deutronomy mentions Iseaelites being told to eat their own tithe.
I will share that unique part later.

Deuteronomy 26:12 When you have finished paying all the tithe of your increase in the third year, the year of tithing, then you shall give it to the Levite, to the stranger, to the orphan and to the widow, that they may eat in your towns and be satisfied.

2Tim. 3 Verses 16 to 17. [16] All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: [17] That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. If the leader is not perfect and not promoting good works, you are free to reproof and correct them, according to ALL scripture, not just a single verse or a minute section of the scriptures

You definitely need to help the less fortunate, but this falls under giving alms, with tithe you pay , you don’t give, I repeat you pay, like tax, actually before tax
In heaven God takes the tithe, but here on earth Men “of God ” take it to spend according to scriptures, but even where they don’t , just pay your tithe, they will be answerable upstairs 👆🏾

2 Corinthians 1:21-22 New International Version (NIV) …
21 Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, 22 set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come. (Dr I am a member of the above mentioned kingdom only, and I have been sealed by the owner, a seal is not a stamp you can’t remove it, moreover I have trucking device placed by the owner, so demons have no room in me and my family, that’s the only correction I need to make, otherwise you started well)
